Connecting Entrepreneurship, Self-Awareness & Changing Our Personality
Based on these books10x easier than 2x; ( Dan Sullivan & Dr. Benjamin Hardy)The Neurobiology of We ( Dr. Dan Siegel) Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself (Dr. Joe Dispenza)

Summary
I continue connecting personal growth and business success, referencing Dan Siegel's "The Neurobiology of We" and Dr. Joe Dispenza's "Getting Over the Habit of Being Yourself." As discussed in Dispenza's work, breaking free from past traumas and repetitive behaviors is essential. I also reference Dan Sullivan's "10x is Easier than 2x," which advocates exponential growth over incremental progress. Increasing self-awareness and personal transformation are both on the path to achieving internal freedom and business success.
Outline
The Impact of Trauma and Neural Patterns
Holding onto past trauma can reinforce negative neural patterns, making it difficult to break free from repetitive behaviors.
Remember Dr. Dispenza's idea that repeating the same story strengthens neural networks, leading to a habitual pattern of thought and behavior.
The Difference Between 2x and 10x Mindsets
The 2x mindset focuses on incremental progress, and the 10x mindset aims for exponential change.
2x is linear and exhausting, while 10x requires a fundamental shift in mindset and approach.
Interestingly, "10x is Easier than 2x." highlights the importance of internal change for external success.
They also discuss the concept of surface-level freedom (external and measurable) and higher-level freedom (internal and qualitative)
An Important Aside…
I wanted to acknowledge the challenges to freedom in the United States, including threats to speech, assembly, and personal identity.
It is essential to emphasize the importance of internal work to maintain and enhance personal freedoms.
In the atmosphere we find ourselves in, the need for individuals to change themselves to change the world seems much more important as part of the broader goal of transforming the country.
The Connection Between Personal Reality and Personality
Dr. Dispenza's work explains that our personal reality is shaped by our personality; again, repetitive thoughts and behaviors create a self-fulfilling cycle that reinforces one's personal reality.
Becoming self-aware and changing one's reactions is indispensable to breaking free from this cycle.
I describe a recent personal example to illustrate how changing one's energy and attitude can positively impact relationships and situations.
The Quantum Model of Reality and Personal Change
The quantum model of reality states that changing one's state of being is essential for evolving personal reality.
Personal reality results from one's personality; to change personal reality, one must change one's personality.
Emphasizes the need to think, act, and feel differently to create a new personal reality and life.
This concept is also connected to 10x growth in business and life, which requires a fundamental change in oneself.
The Neurobiology of We and Attachment Styles
I talk about Dr. Dan Siegel's work on the neurobiology of we and the concept of the adult attachment interview.
There are four types of attachment: secure, anxious, avoidant, and disorganized, and their impact on personal development.
Early attachment experiences shape one's relationships and personal narratives.
Understanding and addressing these attachment styles is vital for breaking free from repetitive patterns and creating a new personal reality.
